Guns, Gun Violence, & Gun Control

The interpretation of the Second Amendment by the Supreme Court of the United States has remained remarkably consistent. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Absent an amendment to the Constitution, this will not be changing. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that this is an incredibly complex issue, involving deeply held beliefs and significant public safety concerns. Therefore, I support a national dialogue that seeks to find a healthy balance between upholding the Second Amendment and addressing the urgent need to reduce gun violence.
